Yellow Brick Road Nursery School and Day Care Center provides a loving and warm atmosphere where each child feels special and important. The program provides a rich variety of experiences developing social, physical, emotional and intellectual skills. Each child develops at his or her own rate and is given encouragement and recognition for achievements. Our goal is for the children to not only feel good about themselves, but to develop a positive attitude towards learning through a stimulating environment where children are allowed to explore and play and learn through interaction with each other and materials.

Our innovative curriculum provides many opportunities for children to experience creative dramatics movement, music, literature, cooking, science, and nature, community involvement and more. We hope to keep alive young children's natural enthusiasm for learning and their magical wonderment of their world about them.

Also at Yellow Brick Road we encourage parents to be as involved in our program as busy schedules may allow. Monthly newsletters are sent home highlighting upcoming events and classroom happenings. Family gatherings are planned throughout the year such as picnics and entertainment. We feel continuity between home and school is essential in order to provide the highest quality care for all our children.

Yellow Brick Road is licensed by the NJ Division of Youth and Family Services.
We offer full and half day programs- two, three, four or five days for children 2 to 6 .
To meet the needs of working parents we are open year round from 7:30 to 6:00.

 

Yellow Brick Road Preschool and Nursery serves those who live and work in the communities of Highland Park, Edison, Piscataway, New Brunswick, Metuchen, North Brunswick and East Brunswick, New Jersey including Rutgers University students and staff. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from the Edison and New Brunswick Train Stations.
